Rock Stars Join Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, The Who And Paul McCartney For Show At Madison Square Garden
The all-star show just got two more stars.
Eric Clapton and Chris Martin will be joining the Hall of Fame lineup of rock stars for a mega concert on December 12, 2012 at Madison Square Garden for “12-12-12” presented by Chase. The show is a benefit with all proceeds going to the Robin Hood Relief Fund for Hurricane Sandy victims.
The all-star lineup now includes Bon Jovi, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters, Kanye West, The Who and Paul McCartney. Tickets, which start at $150, are now on sale.
“We are grateful to each and every artist that has agreed to be part of this historic night – the response has been astounding, said event producers James Dolan, John Sykes and Harvey Weinstein. “We are just now starting to understand the true scope and devastating impact that Hurricane Sandy brought to the tri-state area and we hope, through this tremendous and unprecedented concert event, to provide the most assistance possible.”

The Robin Hood Relief Fund provides money, material and know-how to local organizations that are serving families and individuals in the regions hardest hit by Hurricane Sandy.
